Erasmus+ Programme for Adult Education
Academia Cidadã has been awarded accreditation under the Erasmus+ KA120 – Adult Education Programme, granted by the National Agency for the Management of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission. This accreditation recognises the work carried out by Academia Cidadã in the field of adult education and the promotion of active citizenship, as well as its institutional capacity to implement European cooperation projects.
Erasmus+ accreditation framework
The Erasmus+ accreditation enables Academia Cidadã to plan and implement, on an ongoing basis, international mobility activities aimed at educators, trainers, and other professionals involved in adult education. This framework contributes to strengthening the team’s skills and to the continuous improvement of the pedagogical practices developed by the organisation.
Within the scope of the programme, Academia Cidadã will continue to participate in European learning and cooperation networks, promoting the sharing of experiences, methodologies, and pedagogical approaches related to citizenship education and community resilience. Exposure to international contexts also allows for the incorporation of innovative methodologies, adapted to local realities and to the needs of the audiences with whom Academia Cidadã works.
